Bachman Foundation awards Dyllis Springs Elementary

The funds we receive will go toward buying specialized instructional materials, sensory tools, adaptive seating or equipment, communication supports, and housing most sensory hands-on learning resources tailored to meet a range of learning and sensory needs in a designated sensory
room space. These materials will aid the special education department in accommodating the needs of all learners. The addition of a designated sensory space within our school will allow students to take structured sensory breaks and access emotional regulation support throughout the day. This space would offer calming and sensory-based resources to help students reset, refocus, and return to instruction ready to learn. Our main priority will always be removing barriers to learning and providing students with the tools that will help them thrive. By investing in these resources, we are investing in the growth, independence, and future success of students who need additional support.

Bachman Foundation awards Bradley County schools Bridge Program

The Bridge Program is a K–12 therapeutic educational setting designed to support students with significant behavioral needs through structured, individualized interventions. The program
currently serves three classrooms (K–2, 3–5, and 6–12), each providing targeted behavioral, academic, and social-emotional support.

The primary goal of The Bridge Program is to stabilize student behavior, build self-regulation skills, and gradually transition students back into the general education setting with appropriate support in place.
